Child Safety Standards

Discover Yeosu is committed to the safety of children and maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This document sets out our standards and the steps we take to prevent, detect, and respond to any such conduct or content.

1. Our Commitment

We do not tolerate any content, behavior, or activity that sexualizes, endangers, exploits, or abuses children in any way. This includes, without limitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to solicit, facilitate, or normalize the abuse or exploitation of a minor. Any such material or conduct is strictly prohibited.

2. Nature of the App

Discover Yeosu is a curated travel guide for visitors to Yeosu, South Korea. It is a general-audience informational app and is not directed to children. Importantly, the App:

• does not allow users to upload, publish, post, or share content;
• does not provide user-to-user messaging, chat, comments, or any social-networking features;
• does not host user-generated content of any kind.

All content in the App is reviewed and published by our own team. Because the App contains no user-generated content and no user-to-user communication, the surface for CSAE-related activity is extremely limited. We nonetheless maintain these standards and the safeguards below.

3. Compliance With the Law

We comply with applicable child-safety and child-protection laws in the jurisdictions where the App is available. Where we become aware of apparent CSAM or CSAE, we act to remove it and, where required by law, report it to the appropriate authorities and child-protection organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement authorities in the Republic of Korea.

4. Reporting a Concern

If you encounter anything in, or connected to, the App that you believe may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, please report it to us immediately:

• In the Republic of Korea: contact the Korean National Police (dial 112) or the relevant child-protection authority.

5. How We Respond

When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of potential CSAE or CSAM, we:

• review the report promptly;
• remove any violating content and take appropriate action against any responsible account or source within our control;
• preserve relevant information as permitted or required by law; and
• report to and cooperate with law enforcement and child-protection organizations (such as NCMEC) as required by applicable law.
